It seems Eli has finally found his core of good receiving talent for the long haul, just like Peyton had his in Harrison/Wayne/Stokley. (Of course I know Eli had Burress/Toomer/Smith, yet this core he has now is way better in Nicks/Cruz/Manningham)

It's not just about their records, it's about how Peyton seems to crumble in the lights of the Big Games. Eli looks more composed and doesn't get rattled easily despite looking like he's always about the cry.

They aren't a playoff team without Eli, but with that defense and the receiving corps, I'd say they win more than 2 or 3 games even with Glovemaster Flex.

Peyton is a perfectionist. Someone who will rant and rave when things are not just right. Eli is more of your patient leader, having a little more grace toward his guys knowing he is not perfect himself. So Eli is not perfect, but his team is perfect. (And at this point, if Peyton and Eli played on teams that had equal talent, Eli would get a lot more out of that team than Peyton.)

It's hard to evaluate since the Giants have consistently fielded better football teams than the Colts talent wise over the past decade. I'd take a healthy Peyton any day but something tells me that the repercussions from his injury are not going away any time soon.
