It's unfortunate that contracts keep ballooning but he plays a position of great importance and he is young. This is why it is important for the FO to prioritize drafting OL going forward. We already have the highest paid OL without the Icky contract. -

He’s young and good enough that they might have to make him the highest paid in the league or close to it. Doesn’t seem like the team has much leverage. -
If he is truly ready then activate him but I would prefer to give him an extra week. Let's be honest. If we can't defeat the Saints without him then our quest for the division is already toast. We will need Hunt big time against the Bucs and Seahawks to finish the season.
