Cams pro bowl

Guys, he had this exact same performance in preseason and at the Combine. He needs chemistry with his players, thats why you only saw him throw one bad ball all game to Steve Smith, the rest to Steve were beautiful. He is a chemistry driven player and once he accumulates it, he is a beast. He looked exactly like he was throwing at the combine last year.

You're right..Cam can't enter a game and just throw...he's very much a rhythmic thrower, he has to string about three passes together to grow in confidence, and then with that comes confidence in his mechanics. Cam is not a natural thrower in that sense.

There were guys on that Dline that wanted them some Cam. Von Miller opposing rook, Antonio Smith beat by Cam, Freeney beat by Cam, Geno his QB was the "other" rookie QB this year.

They were coming after him much more than the Kumbayah fest they had in the 1st half between the OL and DL

Mayock btw might be the most annoying person on the TV since Theismen

 at people thinking you can see anything substantive enough it in the pro-bowl to make any kind of assessment worth a crap about a player.

you guys making a big deal about anything happening in the pro-bowl deserve to get trolled.

it's a joke game that no one takes seriously and people don't like watching. nobody is trying.

why should anyone care?

signed,

someone who isn't watching.

I agree that pro-bowl is meaningless, but y u mad tho

sounds like cam's performance got to you. getting a little defensive bro.

maybe deep down, you really think it means something...

U are 100% right. I remembered watching the Combine and that was the biggest difference between Matt Ryan and Cam. Matt simply threw it to a spot and allowed the receivers to get to the ball. Cam was constantly trying to adjust his throws to the receivers instead of to a spot and hence the over or too wide throws.

I was observing both rookies yesterday and it was clear to see that one, Cam was allowed to run the game. While the other, Dalton, was having his game controlled for him. He was just managing it.

Yes, Dalton's team won but it's now clear to see the difference in how the coaches approach these QBs. And, I believe that is one of the reasons why they have excelled so quickly over the other rookie QBs.

Cam does seem more like the natural born leader who will take his lumps as he learns the game. Dalton, as many have said, is good at managing a game. He is told what to do and goes out and do it.

I personally feel both these QBs will succeed in the NFL but they will get there in their own way.

nope. not mad. just wasting time. didn't watch it don't care. i'm just pointing and laughing at people until i start working.

i am always amazed that people make such a big deal about the pro-bowl, though. the whole thing from the fans being allowed to vote a million times each if they want to the game itself just seems like a colossal waste of time and energy.

and thanks for the monday morning psych eval. it's much appreciated.

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
