Correct. Like I said. Nearly three years ago the Saints who had a plenty long look at him said no thank you and goodbye. We saw fit to not only push his career earnings over the $100 million hump but also try to build a culture around him. The results speak louder than words. -

isnt dalton like 8-25 in his last starts from the past 3 years? I mean he is pretty bad. going back 10 years he is 34-56. You telling me we cannot upgrade from that? -
Of course he's not the literal worst. But the problem is the price the team paid and the fact he's nearly 40. If you're going to keep around a low end backup go with a younger cheaper option. I mean as much as we say Jack Plummer is cheeks the guy is making very little by comparison.
