Jason Brown visiting

Moving a guy that seems to be more comfortable at center, to guard isn't always a good move. I mean Kalil is a probowl center, and top 3 in the NFL, but he struggled like hell at guard. I'd only sign Brown if they see something to be salvaged on his game film, and if he won't cost much.

When did we have him at guard? Very early on when he was behind Hartwig?

He played LG for the Ravens and played it exceptionally. Matsko coached him in 2008 where he became one of the best centers in the league, which eventually made him the highest paid center when he signed with St.Louis. Reunite those two and it will be a fantastic move.

That and put him besides Gross and Kalil instead of those pooty linemen in St. Louis.

This is the kind of players I like. low risk high reward. He is proven and is only 28. We just need him to get back to Ravens level.

I was speaking toward his time with the Rams. During his most recent stretch at guard he played pretty poorly.

Before that the most recent time he played Guard was five years ago

yeah, kind of an irrelevant example now I suppose, but as soon as he moved to center it was like he was a different player. It was an immediate and significant upgrade in his play.

I'm just saying, it's not just going to be a plug and play move.
