From South Texas, most Texas fans are left wondering why the Texans shipped off their MLB. He was the unquestioned leader of that defense. Cushing can, and will step up, but it still a head scratcher.

I doubt the Texan's are going to give us the reason why, so it is left to us to speculate.

I'd say it's a bit of all three.

Still, a 4th round pick isn't much value for a good MLB.

Damn, it looks like it was the achilles. 4th round pick? LOL. they wanted to get rid of him for anything before people realize that his stats last season weren't only because of the change in scheme. I worry for Beason now.

I think that age plus lack of production plays a role, but there is something to be said about players who have made an impact in the NFL. Swapping 3rds, and giving up a 4th, I think that was a solid get. hard to get Luke at their spot, I think hes gone before then. You cannot argue with his production.
