Rnr's Horrible Mock Draft That Would Never Happen

First off I'm trading Stew to the Rams for a 3rd and 4th. Sorry bro, I like you but I'm not paying you a fat contract next year so I'll get something while I still can.

Next, I'm trading down from 9 to the Patriots for their two 1's and a 4th. Pats don't usually make these kind of moves but they need a really elite player on D rather than a couple average ones... or at least that's what I'd try to convince them. Plus after that ass raping Armanti Edwards trade they kinda owe us one.

OK, onto the picks...

1.27 Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State

1.31 Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois

2.8 Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama

3.2 Sean Spence, OLB, Miami

4.1 Markelle Martin, S, Oklahoma State

4.9 Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati

4.31 Ryan Broyles, WR/PR, Oklahoma

5.8 Audie Cole, MLB, North Carolina State

6.10 Evan Rodriguez, TE, Temple

6 [comp] Bryan Anger, P, California

7.9 Randy Bullock, K, Texas A&M

pats are more known for trading down but they also trade up quite often as well. they just never were willing to trade up into an early 1st round pick in the past due to the huge contract they'd have to shell out. with the new CBA teams will be more willing to make those kind of moves, although I DID say this would never happen in the title so :P

I like it, except for the Stewart trade.

Exactly. Given the Pat's draft position, you are basically trading a late 4th for a season of production from Stewart.

We are going to get a late 3rd anyway as a compensatory, so if it were me, I would rather not have a late 4th and keep Stew for another year.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
