Let me preface this by saying that in no means is this certainly fact as around this time of the year, teams are always willing to go out of their way to disinform other teams for their own desires in the draft. However, if it is true, we might have ourselves a trading buddy.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, the Jets "have the hots" for South Carolina DE/OLB Melvin Ingram.

A projected top 10 pick, Ingram is unlikely to be available when the Jets pick at No. 16, but Cimini feels that they might be willing to trade up for his services. Extremely versatile, the Jets could use Ingram at defensive end or any of the linebacker positions in their 3-4 scheme.

But, in terms of the trade, depending on what they'd be willing to offer, I think we should certainly listen. There's a lot of guys we're probably looking at that would feel like a reach at #9, but would look a lot better at #16.
