Terrell Mcclain

Meh - McClain was underwhelming last year but he wasn't exactly a top 10 first rounder either. I think that with a year or two under his belt the kid will be a damn good DT for us.

Some of you guys are too quick to throw out a rookie third rounder because he didn't come in and dominate games.

Also the other problems in the interior of our defense didn't do the DL any favors - just so we're thinking big picture here.

Add that these guys were thrust in there with no offseason or training camp to boot. Just the fact that they are working as we speak and it is April will help them immensely. Given how well Cam played I think that the whole lockout effect has been largely ignored. It was a huge factor for many players especially with a new coach, scheme and guys who were rookies. Things will be much better this year even if we weren't getting everyone back.

I think the fact that both our rookie DTs struggled is more about the rookie wall than about the individual players. It should give pause to all those who expect any rookie to come in and play well from day 1. For every guy who does, there are 2 or 4 more that struggle.

so now this is convenient to point out despite thinking a 6th round DE should have started from day 1....?

Cmon man, when youre in your early twenties, youre still developing muscle. You have more flexibility and maybe less pain, but that doesnt do much for you in the game of Kings.

Expecting a young guy to impact at that type of spot is rare. Anywhere on the line is hell for a young player.

I think you have to separate a rookie with no offseason conditioning having never played a down in the NFL with a second year veteran who had all of 2010 to learn the ropes. For most players they make their biggest jump between their first and second year. The situations are not even remotely similar. Otherwise you would have to give a pass to everyone on the team and I don't see that happening.

Nice try though...........................

look again then but open your eyes this time.

When I take a second look I can notice him run in a circle at the :50 mark and proceed to attempt to sexually assault James Anderson. I am in sheer disbelief that anyone with an objective point of view would should this video as any sort of positive footage of McClain, any fat boy can fall on a ball
