I still think Hardy has the potential to be a really good defensive end. Three sacks in the first five games is pretty damn good, he must have finally realized that after the first five games that the defense sucked so there was no point in trying lol.

Teams started to take notice and Hardy was under much more pressure the later half of the year. This is also due to the fact that other teams found out our DTs were worthless. It makes you think just how much better Hardy would be with good DTs, especially with CJ on the other side. Hard is not a feature end like CJ, he probably won't break double defenders or at least hasn't yet but he can easily handle one.

Who really knows though, but I like what seems to be Hardy's cieling, this year should be his breakout year.

Hardy was a constant nuisance to QB's all season, he just didn't get the sacks to show for it. He really needs to work on his assignment and discipline vs the run, but I do think he's a very good RDE. This will be his third year, when most guys have the light really come on. That plus having a healthy interior DL should really help him this season.
