Bobjohnsoncats Are Offically The Worst Nba Team In History

I won't lie, I was all for the name change back to the hornets but now I hope we remain the bobcats. Just so we can keep people like this out of the fan base.

They don't care about basketball, they just care about a damn name. Doesn't matter that the roster might stay the same or the fact we'll probably suck next year.

Thing is AggieLean, the OP 2 years ago tried to have me banned from here and proclaimed he was a bigger Bobcats fan than me. LMAO. Now because the "cool" and "fashionable" thing to do LOCALLY is to pile on the Bobcats, look what he's doing? Dissassociating himself from us. Chastising us. As soon as we draft a big name and ESPN starts talking about us, what do you think he's gonna do? Hop right back on the wagon and act like he never left. And I love how he showed us how much that 8 year grudge against Bob Johnson still burns inside him. People like him never forget or give up grudges with blacks. 8 years from now he'll still be hating Bob like he went on a rape trial or something. I dont expect people like him and the other hicks in our market to ever truly love and appreciate something an african american creates. They're not capable of that, and us being at our lowest point has exposed that. Its just like the saying, when you're completely down, you find out who your true friends are.

I look forward to and envision our fanbase being free of these clowns.

I am going out on a limb tonight..I think Hendo drops 34 tonight and leads the Bobcats to a victory. book it. I will bump if it does or does not happen.

The thing about tonight is I am unsure who will play for the Knicks and how hard they will play. If they win or the 76ers lose they get Miami in the first round, if the lose and the 76ers beat the pistons they get Chicago in the first round.

We don't have to have the #1 pick in order to get a guy that can start pushing this franchise in the right direction. There are actually guys that I think fit better with this team than Anthony Davis so if we miss the #1 pick I am not going to cry about it.

BTW I am not saying I think guys are better than Davis, or that we shouldn't pick Davis, just that there are guys who fit better with this team than Davis if we are not able to secure the #1 pick.

Agreed. Its silly when I hear people complain about the team tanking for a high pick when there is only a 25% chance for the number 1 pick. Bitch the bobcats highest pick in the last 5 years was 8th overall, thats not a top pick in the NBA draft.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
