Official Panthers Draft Day Thread.

Didn't want to make a thread for this:

Despite our ineptitude of getting anything of quality out of the second round since Ryan Kalil graced us with his probowl talent. Hurney, given the opportunity, will pass on Jenkins despite the fact that he is a shutdown corner with some character concerns using the fact that he has missed on so many other 2nd rounders he will look to that being the excuse to not take another chance on a player such as J.J. Little does Hurney know this one pick could offset all his blunders, and if it doesn't work out?

No one would really blame him, we spent a 2nd round pick on a projected shutdown corner, no big deal, not like we have had anything of use come from the second round in ever anyways.

Post your reaction to us passing on J.J. below:

I honestly don't think Jenkins will last to our pick. Word is a lot of teams are interested in the 2nd, including the Ravens, who pick before us after trading down. The Rams are another team who could take him and they pick twice before we do in the 2nd.

I'd love to have him, but I don't see him falling that far. And if he does, who knows if Hurney takes the gamble? It wouldn't surprise me if we go offense with the pick if Stephen Hill falls or Cordy Glenn. Hurney seems intent on taking a WR.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
