I'm certain that he sucks because he wasn't even good in college. That is why he fell in the draft and even teams that needed QBs didn't bother taking him in the second round. He threw floaters to Floyd and Tate and the former especially bailed him out so many times.

Here is another reason why he fell - because he has very little upside. The only reason people liked him coming out was because HE PLYD IN PRO STLYZ LULZ. Clearly he wasn't that pro ready and considering he has a weak arm, horrific accuracy, and limited mobility compounded with poor decision making and mechanics, there isn't much reason for anyone to think he'll actually ever improve.

If he proves me wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. But I seriously doubt he does.

I have faith in him. He'll be a fine QB. Just not in a Panthers uniform. With that said. When is he being traded/cut/released?

In another system with a solid team, I think he could be decent. But it'd have to to be pretty specific.

Sure Jimmy fell to the 2nd but some QBs go undrafted and lead teams to the playoffs after years of hard work.

jimmy has probably vastly improved as a quarterback, but his reputation with his teammates probably will never recover. he'll be kept around until another option with the upside to succeed in an air coryell system comes around, and then cut and probably picked up by another team.

It won't surprise me a bit if he plays out his rookie contract here, goes somewhere else, and eventually starts. It won't surprise me if he doesn't, either. The only thing he could do that would surprise me is overtake Newton on the depth chart.
