Keuchly Told He Will Start At Wlb

That is all you have to do to fix this pass rush? The Giants are dumb for spending all those 1-3 round picks on D-Lineman. With smarts like that, Hurney WILL get us a championship this year.

Did I say that's all you have to do? Nope. I asked a question. If you're implying that you need a pass rush from D-lineman to win a super bowl, then say so. Don't need the condescending tone at all.

I've felt that this Kuechly rotating with Davis mainly would be best for both players, especially Davis b/c it wil make him less injury prone. Actually both Davis and Beason, but as I said before, I'm more concerned about Davis coming off 3 than I am Beason. Our LB core is tight, I love it!

Nice to see Jonathan Nelson get a nice plug in from Rivera on helping Kuechly out at rookie camp today. Nelson might be a surprising player if he could possibly beat out D.J. Campbell and Jordan Pugh for a fifth safety position.

I love Nelson. He is so underrated. I really believe that he will beat out Campbell and Pugh. I also think he is every bit as good if not better than Martin. He will surprise some folks.

I can't recall one post by that dude where he contributed anything new to a thread it's the same ol sarcasm b.s because we don't have a d- line like the Giants

I don't think Pugh has a place on this roster anymore. I think Reggie smith will either beat out Martin or if nothing else take Pugh's place in the "buffalo nickel" package.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
