What Keuchly Was Ask To Do In College Versus What He Is Capable Of Doing?

Before everyone makes their snide remarks I admit I am not an expert as many of you are or think you are but.Luke did catch my eye at the combine and the sports science piece that cam out on him.My question is he a freakish enough of an athlete that could be moved from time to time to a edge rushing DE or 3-4 OLB? I fully understand that he never played that role in college but was thinking if by some miracle TD and Beason come back strong why could he not be used in that capacity.I kook at the physical attributes of Freeney and Bruce Irvin and other than giving up a couple of pounds to Freeney he has the speed and athleticism. .He is also very similar to Von Miller.

i think he could but i think he's better at controlling things in the middle of the field to such a degree that 1) you really don't want him to do anything else and 2) he makes it safer for other guys to rush the passer.

In your hopefully assessment of TD coming back full strength, well, he's our best pass rushing 'backer, so Keek can be used to his strengths, which according to most, are in coverage. Talk about a lethal 3rd and long D! Beason roaming the middle, Keek covering the tight end or back in the flat, TD blitzing in. The possibilities for a D guru like RR are unlimited.

If Davis and Beason are up to full potential and Anderson stays as good as he has been, then I would not be opposed to seeing all four on the field at once. Luke would be an upgrade at safety stopping the run for a few plays a game.

    • It was a bad play from Icky but the OL didn't give up a sack until late in the 4th quarter and Bryce just stood there like he was canatonic. If our 3rd year number one overall pick can't overcome one single sack against a rebuilding Saints team that should only have 2 wins this season then it isn't ever going to happen   This is your quote. I mean I’ve quoted it twice. It was followed by calling people that defended him fugers and several other meltdowns I can also quote.    Shame you for working for a living??? Wow this is a whole new level to your victim mentality thing you like to do. You don’t have to watch games live. Or don’t spend an entire thread arguing about something you didn’t get the full picture of. I miss parts of games all the time. That’s just life. Not even going into the whole losing all respect thing.
    • Rams ended up firing ST coach and former Panthers coach Chase Blackburn after the loss. Sounds all too familiar.
    • How are they on a PP. fug this league
