To The People Crying About Our Defense.

It does not really matter if u have a good defense or not really cause in this Era the rules favors the offense and with all these lawsuilts its just gonna get worse. So imo its a waste of time to want a top 5 D cause its not gonna win u poo with the rules like they are Today.

good point lets just throw some potted azaleas out in the secondary, no need for a defense

giants had a shitty defense for instance, that's how they stopped tom brady and won a superbowl

twice

Giants did have a shitty Defense their pass D was worse than ours but their Offense made up for it Eli Played out of his Mind.

Another Point Greenbay's defense also sucked and thats not hold them back either.

I find all of these discussions irrelevant and unsatisfying. All you need is a franchise QB to be a contender. We have that. We can be like the 06 colts or the 07 giants I don't really care. Go Panthers.

I agree thats all u need today is a Franshise QB to win in Today's Nfl and we finally have that with Cam.

All the rules do is make it harder to have a strong defense, but assuming that having a top 5 defense is pointless is pretty fuging stupid and you should feel stupid for having posted it.

What I'm saying is its impossible to have a defense like you people keep crying about cause the rules of today favor offense and its nothing u can to say to change my mind about it.

False, but this argument isn't going anywhere since you seem to be pretty close minded about it.

    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
