As humam beings, I think that we can all relate in some fashion as to what this guy is going through right now. Like everybody else, I hope this guy has a break out Pro-Bowl season. I'll be specifically looking for him during our week one match up. I hope he gets some good help, and that he can concentrate on getting back to the game he loves. Class act by adopting his sisters kids. Hope he has a long and prosperous career. Why am I finding myself suddenly liking the Bucs?i hope they do really really well.. I just hope they have one more loss than we do by week 17

I don't want to sound like an ass. This was a nice thing for him to do. However, I really don't really see how this is any different than what 90% of the people out there would do if they had his financial means.

I guarantee you that I would not hesitate to adopt my niece and nephew if anything happened to my sister and her husband. And, I am not making millions if dollars a year.

I am glad to see him do it...and it does show class. But, I don't think it is that unusual nor warrants such admiration

Flame away.

I really hope he does well this season, even if he is a Buccaneer. Has lost 3 siblings (I can't even imagine losing one) and was just hospitalized due to dehydration. By all accounts, he seems like a class act as well.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
