Panthers Hope Hogan Can Step Up (Pfw)

Recommended Posts

saw this kid two years ago...he is really aggressive which can be a plus but can be caught with double moves. advantage carolina when playing timing route teams like new orleans and giants. will have trouble with speed recievers but will be able to match up well with big recievers...

I think it comes down to Butler or Hogan with Norman as an outside shot. I think Norman has a ton of upside and that he, Hogan and Butler could be our future, but not in his rookie year. I think the elite level of competition will be too much immediately. I think Butler and Hogan should be our 2 and nickel corners respectively. Captain should be relegated to ST's and the occasional sub at DB, because he honestly is nothing more than that on 80% of the teams in the league. I have high hopes for Hogan though... think he has all of the tools to be a top corner.

Capt. was a better CB last year than Butler. I would not be surprised if he was not cut this year. He was consistently beat on the outside when Capt shifted inside.
