Sounds alot like Colin Herd from ESPN radio. he blasted it for like 2 segments after finally realizing the players were the voters. People are just dumb. How can you be in the national media and NOT know things like this?

There are huddlers that would be better anchors that are currently out there acrross all of the major outlets!

40 overall does seem high, but quarterbacks will *always* be slid up the rankings because of how important they are.

I would put Cam in top 10 QBs or very close to it, but I expect him to move up that list this season as we see more of him.

Romo dropped 19 spots after having his best season. Flacco moved up 16 spots despite a worse completion %, less yards, avg, and tds, more INTs and fumbles.List is a joke.

The other issue to me is that its pretty difficult to compare football players that don't plaay the same position. QBs and and such are always going to be ranked higher because their position is more important.

I think you could probably get a decent ranking from players of most positions, but an overall ranking isn't really useful imo.

If you wanted a 100% accurate list of say the top 100 or position by position ranking you shouldn't ask the players or sports writers. Ask the positional coaches, guys who work one on one and gameplan for specific aspects of players strengths and weaknesses. They know the things that really matter, like footwork, hand placement, proper tackling and everything else based on form and technique.
