Proud of my woman.

My wife held onto her baby weight and more for a few years. It was really starting to get to her emotionally. I always told her that she was beautiful, of course. Over the last two months she has successfully lost over 40 lbs and is back to her pre baby weight.

That's great... my wife still has baby weight from baby number 2 which she added on to the baby weight she still had from baby number 1.... Definitely a prickly subject for her.

Even though I make no mention of it and don't really care, it's put a strain on our marriage.

guys seriously have no clue what added weight does to our head...especially the ones that have never been overweight (no offense :) )

the best thing I ever did was wake the fug up and finally did something about it instead of bitching and complaining...soooo much happier

You did the right thing in just supporting her. It took my wife 3 years to get the weight off as well so I know it is not easy. That was 14 years ago and she never put any back on.

On a side note are you building a deck or is that a post to no where? (Can't help myself as as an old Construction Project Manager)

Anyhow tell her congrats!

She lost it by eating right and light exercise.

That is my mother in laws house and it is indeed a post to nothing. I've built houses for 12more years and best I can figure they were going to put a roof in the deck and just quit. I told her that I would finish it for her but so far no dice.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
