Plaxico Wants in this shindig. (Radio interview)

Recommended Posts

we're talking about redzone...yes, that's cool but we could really move the ball down the field with this guy...we loss some close games last year. We really need to extend these drives and I'm looking at a guy who has the potential of doing that by increasing the options on 3rd down.. What ever you think of him as a person has to leave your mind and think about the idea that he is another bullet Chud's high power offense.

We have too much faith in LaFell, and we have another guy in Gettis that has proven he's able to stretch the field.

If we didn't have Smith then yeah, maybe. But I like where we're at with our offensive targets.

I really like this Lamont Bryant kid too. 6'5 220, 4.4 40 yard dash.

Championships are not won on free agency but if Smith God forbids fall can you honestly say we have a number one worth a double team in which other teams would actually game plan for. Lets make Camp competitive and really cut off the dead project. I'm so tired of forcasting every offseason on who is going to develop. Lets push these guys who are here and make them get there spot like steve smith did.

Passes the eye test but something smells funny. Like a Keyshawn whiff.

Keyshawn did his job here, 800 yards or so, 4 td's.....

Anyway, why not take a chance on Plaxico? Cheap and he's nasty in the red-zone. If it means less time we run Cam into the defense at the goalline (preventing injuries) I say go for it. He produced last year on a lesser offense than ours, who knows what he can do here. I agree, you win by developing young guys, but sometimes you sign vets to fill in holes. Shockey last year as an example. LaFell showed flashes but isn't a sure thing at #2, and Gettis is still a question mark coming off that injury.

Keyshawn was far from a whiff...

that dude doesn't sound like a guy who is going to cause problems.. with low cap hit, he would be a positive acquisition...

He made 45 catches for 612 yards and eight touchdowns last season for the Jets.

With Sanchez under Center. Sure he had holmes next to him, Smitty is a holmes type of player. I can only imagine what he would do with Cam, Smith, Olsen and LaFell.

Sadly enough, it won't happen. The Brass won't do it.
