If we pick #2 it's gonna be Robinson. However, I believe the FO wants Barnes & will trade back to pick him at #4. If WAS picks Barnes we still get Robinson. Really no risk trading back.

Report out of Cleveland saying that the Bobcats are asking Cleveland for picks 4, 24, and 34 in exchange for #2.

Doubt that is what we end up with but hopefully something gets done

Telich of Fox 8 is a respected sportscaster in the Cleveland area, and most definitely has his finger on the pulse. The Bobcats are in a unique position where controlling their own destiny isn't really of huge importance. Unlike the Cavs who are looking to add that final, developmental piece, Charlotte are in dire need of help all over the court, and have as many as four players they would be comfortable using their first pick on after spending significant time with Thomas Robinson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bradley Beal, and Harrison Barnes. Selecting 4th overall would still ensure one of these players, and if they're close in the eyes of ‘Cats scouts then it's a simple decision.

Houston has 14, 16, and 18 now and are rumored to be looking to trade up to a high pick, to package with some of their players to make a play for Dwight Howard. Would you guys entertain the possiblity of moving the 4th pick we would get from Cleveland for 14/16/18, or would you rather stand pat, and get one of the upper echelon guys in the draft, and pick our project with the second first rounder from Cleveland?

Just to summarize, that would turn our #2 overall pick, into 14, 16, 18, 24 and 33(if you believe we will get that from the cavs too).

Ive also read somewhere, I cant remember, that the Wizards could offer us their second rounder to move up from 3 to 2, to make sure they get beal. We wouldnt lose someone we are seriously going after and pick up and extra second rounder.

Houston will work to flip those three picks (14, 16 and 18) into higher picks that could be used for an impact player out of Thursday's draft, or to further sweeten a deal for Howard or another league star, sources said.

Also, if the cavs trade up and take Beal, Washington is prepared to make a trade with the Lakers giving them the 3rd pick. Now if the lakers take MKG whom its rumored they want, that still will leave Barnes and Robinson on the board. Things are deffinately getting interesting.
