Training Camp Predictions

Recommended Posts

Didn't the Captain just get a raise at the end of the season?

To me the keys to starting our season off well is the LG and RT. If two guys emerge and play well in those spots I trust Cam to get the job done regardless of the D. The D will be better, it's damned near impossible to be worse. When the game is on the line Cam needs to deliver and the people protecting him need to deliver.

100% chance I will be there at least 2 days, it will be hot, Pickles will look great (Halleluiah, we can get something for his ass) and I have to agree with the earlier comment that AE is gone like a freight train gone like yesterday.

No injuries this year, because.......well...... we filled our quota last year.

The only thing I would say about the original predictions is that they seem pretty rosy. If all of those things happen that early in the season (esp. in terms of the getting the depth chart solidified at 3WR, DT, CB2, LB, etc.) I'll be surprised.

There is no such thing as an injury free camp...let's just hope they are minor/mild issues.

What I'm most looking for in TC:

The battle at CB between Munnerlyn, Hogan, and Norman. I don't think Munn will get cut...there's value there if he can contribute at nickel and ST.

The return of Gettis in this dynamic passing offense. I thought this kid looked good enough to develop into a #1 a few times in 2010.

Beason, Edwards, Davis recovery...I'd like to see these guys going at 100%.

I want to get a better sense if how they plan to use Tolbert.

I'm hoping to see the scheme develop for the defense during camp. What I don't want to hear or read is that the offense is thrashing the defense on every play. That won't be good for either side's development.

I also want to see Rivera practicing more clock management situations. He needs a few reps...

In any case, I'm thinking about going...maybe taking my kid...I'm excited about this team...

Clausen has zero trade value today.

Good camp plus non horrific preseason play against guys that will be driving trucks for UPS when the season starts

= still no trade value
