If you could steal 1 player from each division rival who you taking?

well maybe i should have went with the lazy, always boring Brees Ryan Freeman format.

I've always liked Harper. like his game and attitude. He's a throwback player who i would love to have on my team. I looked at the Panthers weaknesses and i feel the defensivebacks are the biggest weakness on the team. I also like Greer but since i used my pick on harper i couldn't very well choose him so i looked elsewhere. It was a toss up between Tilib and Grimes. Tilib is bigger and more physical so i when his way. That left the Falcons so i went with the heady pass rusher the Panthers so desperately need.

Even though I totally broke form and read this, I'm soooooooooooo glad I put this ass monkey on the ignore list. My huddle experience has benefitted tremendously.

Redskins eat rotten Cheetah meat!

Sorry to go off-topic but man, it is crazy how untalented the defenses in the NFC South are. Or at least were last season. I believe we went into the Week 17 game without our starting defensive end, three starting defensive tackles, two starting linebackers, and starting corner. Sad. Anyway...

TE Jimmy Graham

WR Vincent Jackson

WR Julio Jones

There isn't really any other IMPACT defensive tackle, safety, or corner in this division so might as well stockpile on offense. As of right now, Roddy White > Julio Jones but I like Jones' upside more, especially in our system. How would any team stop Newton and Stewart/Williams in the backfield, Graham at tight end, Smith in the slot, and Jackson and Jones occupying the outside?

Carl Nicks is not in the NFC South...or is he?

He went from the Saints* to Tampa

I just re read the OP and didn't process that I had to take one from each team in the division. I would change my answer to graham, babineaux, and nicks.

1. Atlanta- Julio Jones, WR: He is very young and has tremendous potential. I personally think he will take over as the number one receiver for the Falcons from this year forward.

2. New Orleans- Jimmy Graham, TE: Jimmy Graham is a top two tight end in this league and he is still very young. He will most likely be a top tier tight end for the rest of his career and a Newton, Smith, Jones, Williams, Stewart, Tolbert, Graham, Olson combo would be incredible. That would be so sick!!!

3. Tampa Bay- Adrian Clayborn, DE: Like Graham and Jones, Clayborn is another young guy and he is an above average defensive end. A combination of Clayborn and Johnson would be a great tandem of defensive ends to create havoc in the backfield.

    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
    • I understand that some people want WR. I am solidly against using yet another high pick there. Coker is pretty good and we used No picks on him.  What I think we really need at WR is a little bit of a Smitty lite. It is ridiculous to say let’s get a Smitty because you just can’t do that, but someone not tall and long striding but more in his mold. I think we’d have a pretty well rounded group.    Looking at tackle, with replacing Moton looming, it just seems like the no brainer.  You fill in Icky short term. Depending on how he recovers, and how the new guy plays, you go from there. A tackle at 19 is most likely either a LOT, a ROT, or a big talented guard, at worst. We will need all three in the next couple of years.  I would love to have a stud ILB be there at 19 but the OL is the responsible thing to do I believe.
