Visiting Charlotte Today!

Recommended Posts

Being from Ohio, I've only ever driven past our stadium on occasions. Today we are exploring the city. I'm pretty excited to actually be at "ground zero" where it's all went down, and I plan on hitting up the team shop too!

Anything cool to do in Charlotte other than sight see Bank of America?

Unfortunately, no.

Unfortunately, no.

People who think there is nothing to do in Charlotte are either under 21 or poor.

Yeah Charlottes such a boring city it's become one of the fastest growing cities/regions in the US for what seems like forever.

Tons of stuff to do. Go eat downtown. Go rent a boat on LKN or Wiley. Tons of stuff for kids to do. Google is your friend.

But there is a camp practice tonight at 630. Go there you won't regret it.

Columbus. We lived in Raleigh until 1992

Nice. Buckeye fan? My gf went to OSU and won OSU/Michigan tickets this year from the alumni association. Can't fuging wait.

Been to NFL HOF twice in the past three years. The bathrooms there are cooler than the entire NASCAR HOF here, lol.

Was up there about a month ago saw the tribe play the Angels. Enjoyed those $10 beers lol.

She's from Akron.

Love the Bucks. I'll miss old Jimmy Tressel, but urban is a good one. My wife graduates from OSU this fall.

Being around the state of NC has me really missing my childhood and the area though. Thinking of moving back if I can find a job. It's been a good vacation down here in the south and getting to see Charlotte today and tomorrow will be the highlight for me. It's a great town my buddies who live there have told me.

    • Goes to S.C., great athletic traits, raw in some aspects, yeah he’ll be a Panther for sure.
    • Ive posted conspiracy theories about us being interested in him for months.  Hes an elite physical specimen with elite intangibles.  Hes got to show an improvement passing and reading defenses this season though.  If he does he will be the #1 pick.
    • Narratives change real fast because of how fast information travels these days and the need to generate clicks.  People said the Panthers were a great place for him to land but just because it was said doesn't make it true.  Was that true?  Did we have an All-star staff?  Did we have a good front office?  Did we surround him with talent?  Could the defense carry the load?  You have to squirt really hard to think it was just a bad rookie QB stinking it up all by his lonesome.   Saying the worst football teams have bad QB's is just low handing fruit.  It's the easiest thing to grab onto.  It could also be teams that have a bad coaching staff or no talent to surrounding the QB or a horrible front office.  It can also be a horrible QB.  To this day I think that T-Law going to the Jags might have ruined his career because of Urban Meyer.  I don't agree at all that Bryce's only good game of his entire career was against the Falcons.   Week 16 against the Cards (which is one of those last 3 games we mentioned) 36-30 OT win.  Threw 3 TD's Week 12 against KC 30-27 loss but Bryce went 24 of 35 for 263 yrds.  It was Mahomes magic that got us. Week 10 against the Bucs 298 yards in a close game with a passing TD and a running TD. We even had those flashes of what he could be in 2023 against the Packers, the 95-yard game winning drive vs the Falcons, or how he outplayed CJ Shroud with the win over the Texans. Especially in this respect you're not being truthful.
