Remodeled team store looks great.

It was the first place I went when I got into Charlotte a few years ago during my first trip to a home game. I got off the flight, and had the cab take me there and then walked to my hotel from there after. Ended up spending much more than I wanted to, got a Stewart jersey, a jacket (was for the Bengals game in 2010 in a monsoon), a growl towel and a few other random things.

Would love to see the new layout though

I went over this morning. There was a smoking babe that helped me pick some stuff out. They don't have much kids stuff yet and they don't have any sale/clearance stuff. They may bring that stuff up for Saturday tho. I didn't see any blue elites. They did have tons of non nike stylish womens gear. At the end of the day it looks a little more modern but it's basically the same store. They have a nice Joe Adams manikin. Great hat selection as well. It's tax free to.

I am souring on the idea of jersey buying altogether in the NFL and here is why....

The new Nike replicas are crap ($100 versions). They are poor fitting and feel like majestic

MLB material on the front and back. Might as well get something off the Wal Mart clearance rack.

Now the new Nike Authentics $275 version are awesome. BUT, I hate paying that much for a jersey when in reality the player is only going to be around for a few short years, and other than Cam Newton most of those players are going to be out in 1-2 years. It's just hard dropping $300 with that being the case no matter how sweet they are. Even cam which is the one I plan on gettin if I get one; what If he skips town Lebron James style? I'll be ashamed I spent it

Get a Smitty jersey then. Pretty solid chance he remains a Panther until he hangs up his cleats.

I plan on getting a White Cam Newton authentic and a black Steve Smith authentic. Even though Smitty will only be around for 3 to 4 more years max he will retire as one of the greatest panthers of all time.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
