I'm tired of people on here saying the Panthers are a small market team when they have the 5th biggest market in all of the NFL. We don't get talked about unless it is Cam or occasionally Steve Smith but we are still the 5th biggest market.

Fine, we are a small-fanbase team. My point's the same.

The issues isn't the bad writing. It's the fact they put bad work like this on sites like NFL.com. There is a 24/7 demand for information and analysis on the internet so they give any hack with a keyboard license to write.

I don't get it. How does this article hurt you?

There's nothing wrong with hating articles that suck, but why do you feel like they owe you something?

they're trying to inject satire into their writing and have fun with it, which makes sense given the culture of internet discussions and written pieces, but as an official site they should be more news and fact oriented rather than competing for slots as cracked.com writers.

this is admittedly a petty criticism, and i generally have no outstanding problem with the site's material, but incidents like this annoy me. a proper piece on this would have included one of the top LB performers of the last half decade because it's obvious to everyone, not omitted it to make fantasy football jokes about peyton hillis.

Well since none of those guys have played a single down yet, it's obviously too soon to even talk about but I'll give the award to Thomas Davis. Another invaluable thread of the great carolina huddle dot com. Thank you so much.

The best thing about the huddle is the people who try the hardest to maintain some kind of standards for content are named things like Swedish Butt Whistle.

Yeah you wrote it better than I did. A few months ago they wrote what amounted to a blog post where they assigned Soccer positions to NFL players. It wasn't even well done. They didn't research the physical attributes required to play each position.

These kinds of articles and the seemingly endless number of "<insert question a 3 year old would ask as title for article>" are just ruining credibility in modern reporting more and more. Dont get me wrong, theres always been idiots writing stuff but it seems like its growing out of hand nowadays.

Ive got an awesome idea for an article, Bob! "Does Apple have a new dildo that will plug into my ass and usb at the same time?" . . . yesss run with it Peterson GOGOGO!

I think some people are operating under the false assumption that these articles exist to provide information. On the internet, traffic equals money (more or less). What's going to drive more traffic, talking about Chad Johnson or Jon Beason?

Also, you're getting worked up over what this guy has to say? This guy?
