Yeah I believe it was the 2-14 year, i think the score was 9-6 or something.. funny thing I dont think we had a passing TD the whole preseason that year....

Wasn't that in the Clausen 'era'? I remember that preseason was horrible. No TD's at all and it was the worst season we've had in a while. Almost a precursor of the season.

Well it was the Matt Moore era until he go that concussion vs the Giants wk 1 I believe, but that preseason was awful, I'm pretty sure we had no TD's at all, but my memory is not that good, but I 100% sure we had NO Passing TD's.

The Jets really don't have play makers. Other than Santonio Holmes... Meh. Stick Gamble on him. Dustin Keller? Blah. Their o-line is horrible. Our second stringers are better then their starters. I expect a 3-4 sacks this game.

The only concern is injuries and the Jets D. If our O can't move on their D. We have problems.

But... they have teh tebowz. How can they be that bad? Oh, they did want Otah, and Comartie is their second best WR.

We do get to see that rookie DE most folks wanted. Coples I think. Whoo.

This is a game our ones should win. Hope it works that way. Good for a young team to play well and get something positive out of the experience.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
