Rumors of 1 man officiating crews....

Considering the calls we were getting last year I couldn't care less who officiates these games. The professional officials suck, the replacement officials suck... maybe they should just switch to all digital.

You know it won't happen, but with the tech we have now, they could put like 16 cameras all around and above the field and have 3 or 4 guys in a booth officiate the game just as good or better like that...

actually, I can see the league going overboard on calls.. a few missed calls are better than becoming ridiculously strict..

As for the rumor, it doesn't hold weight? bad rumor? LOL..

who truly believes Roger Goodell wouldn't implement this? what action in the past has shown you he isn't prone to drastic changes?

Florio raises a good point. Of course people won't like the drastic change, but Panther fans can finally quit bitching about missed calls, right? Obviously there should be a 95% accuracy or better...

frankly I wouldnt be that surprised. One of the main reasons the NFL has been completely dominating the other American Pro Sport circuits financially and in popularity is because of it's willingness to embrace the digital age. You can't go anywhere without being screamed at to join a new fantasy football league, the NFL has by far the easiest website to use out of the other professional sports, and madden is by far the most popular of sports games.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
