Needs and Wants for Tomorrow Night

Recommended Posts

1. Staters play well enough to come out of the game ahead of schedule. No turnovers.

2. D line is in the faces of Sanchez and The Golden Calf of Bristol such that they can't even get a pass off.

3. Norman makes a positive statement about his readiness to start week 1.

4. Thomas Davis has his presence felt.

5. Murphy steps up when he gets his chance with Smitty out.

6. Medlock gets some touchbacks.

Bonus:

A. Kuechly gets his first NFL INT

B. Double Trouble combine for over 100 yards in the first half.

C. Armanti looks like an NFL receiver for more than 1 play.

D. Win and look good doing it!

Needs:

- stay healthy

- starting right side of OL to be able to perform against a non vanilla backup unit that blitzes

- DL to generate pressure against a weak OL

- no big plays given up by secondary by a struggling offense.

- Double Trouble to move the ball downfield and show they can put the team on their back if the matchup determines it against a stout D.

Special teams needs to pick up their damn hustle and lay someone the fug out.

I want more out of Olsen.

Gary Barnridge needs to show something with the 1st team.

I want to see Josh Norman tested in coverage.

And Medlock to solidify the kicking spot.

Constant pressure on QB.

I'd like to see The Golden Calf of Bristol get dominated by our D so maybe we won't hear about him the entire game.

Man, not to get too far off topic, after looking at NO last night against Houson our LBs have their work cut out for them in stopping/slowing down Jimmy Graham in the home opener.

Don't think Jimmy will have time to shine (even if possible) the 3rd sting QB usually gets the last 5min or so, of the 4th qtr.

Barney is nowhere close to being cut.

I'd like to see our WRs get open and make plays against a stout secondary.

-D-line continues to improve and plays even better than last week.

-Our secondary shutdown a crappy group of WRs (outside of Holmes).

-TD stay healthy.

-Cam light a very good D on fire.

-Cerberus (three headed monster) the killer RB corps deystroy everthing in their path.

ESPN will be unbearable if The Golden Calf of Bristol has success against us.

as well, it'll be unbearable if he sucks it up.. funny how that works..

also, I like the idea of having Hardy face LTs and letting Big Money face lesser talent.. Most may not take notice but this is a solid strategy if Hardy can use his newly acquired weight to his advantage as we saw against Miami..
