Dwill and Jstew both top 10 RBs in the NFL?

Just spent the last hour arguing with my brother that Dwill and Jstew should both be considered in the top 10 NFL runningbacks right now. Am I just being a homer or is he crazy as hell to think other wise? He is a Bucs fan, keep that in mind. I might would put them both in the top 5 or 6 but I left it at 10 to not sound as much like a homer. He also thinks that Cam was not in the top 10 NFL QBs either. He said Cam would be out of the NFL in a few years or a backup at best. He said he believed he would have a career much like former ROY Vince Young. We always spend a lot of time discussing and arguing but this sh*t got heated!

It is hard to argue about our RBs. You cant really base it off of anything but YPC. When you say that though, he says they only have good YAC because they share carries. I just really think both could be top 10 RBs as feature backs, but I guess we will never know for sure.

Yeah the Cam comment sent me for a loop as well. All year last year, even when we beat the HELL out of the Bucs, he still would not admit that Cam was a good QB. I think he is still but hurt about Cam beating the Cocks so bad a couple years ago. I admit to not being a fan of his at first, for the same reason, but I got over all of that really quick.

Barring major early injury, neither back could be top 10 regardless of talent level.

If we're talking hypothetical, well that's just a "my comic book hero can beat up your comic book hero" kind of argument. In that case, sure! 1300 yard seasons for everyone!

    • I am not sure it should be a ‘sell out to go to the SB’ season. And hope they don’t.  At the same time I was thinking you absolutely must find out if you want to pay for Bryce or not. That means putting it on him. No protecting and trying to hide weaknesses with the run game and a super conservative calls.  So I wish they would do it and find out, win or lose, 2026. No more developing. Time to do it. Let’s see once and for all.
    • My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick.  I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble.  I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs.
