Rob Chudzinski

The rumors have been around for a wile now and they just brought it up again during tonights preseason game. Rob Chudzinski could leave us for a head coaching job sometime in the near future.

If you ask me he's a huge part of or offense and a big reason for Newtons successes last year.

So when the moment comes ( and i think the moment will come sooner then we think) what will we do?

Do we make Rob the highest paid offensive coordinator in the league?

I say Yes!

But I could be way out of line here so I'd like to hear everyones opinion on the subject.

My opinion is yes like yours,I would pay him the money if it will keep him.My advice is not to concern yourself with this until after the season.

I just hate seeing good coaches leave

I remember when Mike McCoy when to Denver way back when.

Here lately he did the impossible making The Golden Calf of Bristol a relevant QB, and did a decent job with Kyle Orton.... Give credit where it is due

No coach would refuse a head coach gig for a coordinator job, no matter how much they are paid.

    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
