Just learned there is a Flash Gordon remake in the works to be released soon. Would be curious if they used the same music but update it a little. If they follow the same storyline Gordon is a star football player thrust into space to save the earth from evil. Very campy but fun.

they tried that on scifi but it was so terrible that they didn't even bother making a dvd set of it.

Now that you mention that I think I vaguely remember that about 5 years ago. Kind of came and went with nobody noticing like most things on the SiFi network. Still the 1980 music was great.
