Cam segment coming up on ESPN

...Cam is working with a 'mind' coach.

Now, lol, that's interesting, but, a lot of tennis players and golfers do this.

Seriously, he needs to get ahold of himself and quickly and if that helps him do it, great.

Until he does, they might want to stop the press conferences.

Lot of big names work with sports psychologists....baseball players have done it bc of hitting slumps

Maybe because Smith is the greatest player in Panthers history and has proven it over 12 seasons. He's also a Hall of Famer.

Or maybe it has always been players like Smitty who these media folks claim have "maturity issues" and "character issues." But instead of calling them out, the media much rather go after a player like Cam who is already hated for no reason but that fact that he talented and use him as the face of those players like Steve and his bad attitude.

Amazing how you allowed you receiver with his bad attitude, to accomplish so much in 12 years but you're not will to do the same for this QB. Why is that?

Don't you find it funny that ALL of your QBs have some sort of "mental issue" for so many years yet, you continue to get new QBs and do the same to them like you did the last one?

I guess you folks hate Cam so much you want him sitting next to Jimmy with his towel on his head for the rest of his NFL career. Judging by the attitude of the media, they too seem to realize the Panthers are QB killers and not developers. I'm just they helped Luck make up his mind about not wanting to be on this team.

What the fug does that even mean? Are you saying that we don't want Cam here for 12 successful years? I'm pretty sure everyone would love for Cam to have as lengthy and as successful a career as Smith has had with the Panthers.

I hope Cam has a much better one than 89....without the bs Smitty has brought over the years

I don't see the point in denying what Newton has admitted, the coaches have commented on, team mates have addressed, and we have all seen. It's not that big of a deal, it just needs to be addressed.

So Cam does something mature by reflecting on his actions when asked and you folks then take it and use it as grounds to bash him over the head at every turn. And it's him you claim is the immature one.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
