Point is talent is an issue. We don't need RB talent....we aren't a line it up and run it team. Chud needs that 673 billion dollars at RB invested in the OL and WR/TE.

So Williams is an issue. He is part of a comically paid backfield. Which we don't need....based on what we do we needed that money invested elsewhere on the O.

Basically it would be like wanting to run the ball 40 times a game regardless of what happens....and just using two guys picked up off another teams practice squad and spending huge money on a slot WR. That is the type logic we are using.

You are spot on, but I'm defending DeAngelo like he has no talent and he is the reason why we are bad, like the OP is implying.

The reason our offense is horrific is because we have poo wide recievers who can't seperate and have no speed. Steve Smith has lost a step, he can't seperate anymore and he can't get behind the D. I would honestly take Jacksonville's WR's and maybe even Cleveland's at this point.

What is sad is we are going to cut DeAngelo (given) and he'll sign somewhere else and be instantly a top 5-10 running back, and we are going to get poo for it. Even though its because the coaching staff and GM are way, way far apart on philosophies.

WOW! D-Lo gets 2 carries and he's overrated??? Give me a break! Also, Hurney is not to blame for this! Just the coaches....

I swear I don't know why I get on the huddle after a loss. I wish half of you would just go find a new team...I hear the Falcons are doing well (ahem, cough....Hotsauce, you lil bitch)

Its hard to believe Rivera has failed so misreably as a head coach. There was so much excitement surrounding this team not too long ago.

I guess the horrible drafts, lack of talented depth, and poor decisions/gameplans have crippled this team.

Rivera...sorry man, but it just didn't work out. See ya

There no reason that anyone on this team should have a job come monday

Last I remember when I sucked at my job I got fired

    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
    • The last 8 weeks, Nix had 2,022 yards, 21 TDs, 6 INTs on 70% completions While Bryce's last 8 games he had 1,709 yards, 12 TDs (albeit adding 5 more rushing), 3 INTs on 61% completions. I'm not going to pretend I watched those Broncos games to know exactly how Nix actually looked, but in retrospect, his statistics were better.  Hell, in just his final 8 games, Nix had only 5 less TD passes than Bryce has in his 30 game (28 starts) career. And you said he had better WRs than Bryce did, but I'm not even sure that's even true either. Sutton and Thielen might be completely different types of WRs, but I'd say they are pretty equal on effectiveness if not even a slight edge to Thielen (63.6 YPG for Sutton to 61.5 for Thielen).  Then XL and Coker vs Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vale, again, at worst a push, if not lean in our favor there too. Why is it so hard for some Panthers fans to just objectively look at our team/Bryce and be honest with themselves. ? He was significantly improved the final two months of the season from his first season and a half.  But he was still a below average QB during that time, even if he had a few good throws and clutch moments.
