where are the Hurney, Rivera and dwill apologists?

Hurney has assembled one of the worst teams in panthers history. Teh Dwills is so good, he's tied with Jim Brown on that meaningless career carry record 21 million flushed down the drain.

And finally Ronald Rivera, more like Ronald Mcdonald. He's a clown and a loser who doesn't have any control over the offensive side of the ball. Hell, he probably doesn't even know the plays.

Its hard to believe Rivera has failed so misreably as a head coach. There was so much excitement surrounding this team not too long ago.

I guess the horrible drafts, lack of talented depth, and poor decisions/gameplans have crippled this team.

Rivera...sorry man, but it just didn't work out. See ya

DeAngelo is not bad. We are just running a retarded offense of all time and destiny that gives him 2-5 carries a game while a defender is already draped on him when he has the ball.

If DeAngelo was on the Patriots, he'd be the league's leading rusher. Or any other team for that matter.

We have a coaching staff doing x and a GM building y.....

And doing x is pretty much the let's make Cam be the offense brainstorm. Offense isn't even built around him....they want him to be it all. If you gave Newton a run game with the way the D has been since Luke has been the starter....winning games shouldn't be that hard.

Lol, how are you not blaming Rivera? We somehow manage to lose every single game and we collapse every single second half. Poor adjustments is all on the coach. Our team doesn't adjust. Opposing teams do. That is why we, winning or losing in the first half, we still manage to lose.

Point is talent is an issue. We don't need RB talent....we aren't a line it up and run it team. Chud needs that 673 billion dollars at RB invested in the OL and WR/TE (or D)

So Williams is an issue. He is part of a comically paid backfield. Which we don't need....based on what we do we needed that money invested elsewhere on the O.

Basically it would be like wanting to run the ball 40 times a game regardless of what happens....and just using two guys picked up off another teams practice squad and spending huge money on a slot WR. That is the type logic we are using.

And THIS! THIS! THIS! THIS!

This is the main issue with the team. Hurney has built this team to run the ball down the throats of defenses and then hit them with playaction. Similar to what Harbaugh is doing in San Fran, Carroll in Seattle, Haley in Pittsburgh, and what has been done in New England sans '07 and '11.

Yet Chud wants to sling the ball nonstop. This is the only explanation for the fact that we spent all this money in running backs yet we never use them. Someone has got to go and I say Chud. Kuechly has turned this defense around, shutting down a very good Cowboys offense since he's been put at MIKE (we still have issues on that side of the ball but still, it looks excellent). I believe we've made huge strides defensively. Offensively, we've got the talent but the playcalling is wretched. I'd LOVE for a San Francisco like offense. Boring? Yes. But it works and it wins games. Well, maybe not always if you've got Alex Smith at QB and are forced to throw but it will with Cam at QB.

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
