Observations at the stadium?

I was there. Seemed like 50% Dallas fans, although I'm sure it wasn't. They were loud, but less obnoxious than Giants fans, but I guess that's because the game was closer. The walk down the ramps was brutal though. Once they won, they were as loud as annoying as you would imagine.

You really couldn't tell sometimes who made a good play because Dallas fans were as loud as us on pivotal plays. Not many Dallas fans in my section (128) caused trouble except one fuging pos in the next section over who kept standing on his seat and/or dancing when the Cowboys would advance the ball at least a yard. Mega, mega douche. Born and raised in Texas, I'm sure.

Our section was surprisingly not oversold to Dallas fans. There were a handful, but polite and not overly obnoxious on big plays (save for this one guy 2 rows behind me - but he was really drunk).

Didn't see a fight. A lot of fans down by the goal line booed the security guy on the field when they were forced to give a football back that was kicked into the stands - both Dallas and Panthers fans it looked like.

Overall, there really wasn't anything that irritated me too much - even their fan base (in our section) acknowledged the 3 bad calls.

On the way out, there was some Panther's fan welcoming people to North Carolina and he was the most irritating person of the day.

The Cowboy's fans around me were very cool actually. Very surprised.

As another poster pointed out, sometimes you got confused because it looked like a bad play and the crowd is cheering.

Stadium was 95% full. Weather was perfect. Panthers fans were too subdued as usual.

Scalpers were in power today. I made an offer and the guy didn't make any face but just walked away. And it was a good offer!!

    • generally speaking, going by the original NFL international marketing rights announcement... we would expect to host a Germany home game once every four years.  Doesn't mean we would play internationally only then, just the guarantee home game situation things might have changed since then, if they figure out how to play at more stadiums during a season to expand the number of "home" teams available
    • Munich won't happen. It's a Lions home game in Munich, but we play the Lions at home at BOA Most likely to happen would be Madrid vs the Falcons (although KC has been pushing hard for this one). From a schedule perspective, it would be interesting to have an early November Madrid game (then the bye week), then close out the season at BOA for the 2nd game vs the falcons.  In other words, put the two division games in the 2nd half of the season Paris vs the Saints has long been rumored to be the Browns (but... never say never) We wouldn't play Munich, Melbourne, Mexico City, London, or Rio based on who those announced home teams happen to be
    • Moton's knees were an issue before last season. He will be 32 before the season starts and gets 14.2M in '26 and 21.5M for '27 (not guaranteed). LT Icky and Rasheed Walker are signed through '26 and Freeling through '30 (option); LG Lewis signed through '28, C Fortner through '26 and Hecht through '29; RG Hunt through '28, RG Moton through '27.  They did a good job shoring up that oline.  We can have a starting oline of: LT Freeiling, LG Lewis, C Hecht, RG Hunt, and RT Moton pretty much locked up through the '27 season (will just take a Moton option to do). That's good because we need to be ready to pull the trigger with next year's QB class.
