Ed reed and blaine gabbert can play with a torn shoulder labrum but gamble can't? I know it wasn't on gabberts throwing shoulder but he's still gonna take hits

Baltimore is triying to win a superbowl and if they somehow do Reed will more than likely retire. Blaine Gabbert is playing for his job, if they finish terrible again they will seriously have to consider taking a QB how in the draft again. They have to know if he is right for the job or not.

We really don't know how bad Gamble or the others tore their labrum. Just from 5 seconds of googling, it can either require surgery or a couple weeks of rest and meds.

Jon Beason played the end of the 2008 season with his torn I believe but don't remember.

but it also has to deal with the severity of the tear, I tore my LCL but all it needed to heal up was for me not to do anything for 2 months on it.

To be honest I can see the reasoning behind this move. Give him time to rehab, and have your best DB back at full speed next year. Always look forward.

I can see why some folks are disturbed by this. It shoots through the heart of all the expectations this team had only 2 short months ago. When expectations are dashed, folks tend to rebel. Hence the fire everyfugingbody threads.
