That plays a part too. To answer your question though that's the way our society is these days, everyone loves a train wreck, meanwhile the real heroes and feel good stories are overlooked.

Its not the losing that brings them out. They are always here. Its just that when we are losing your tolerance for them is greatly reduced and that's compounded by the fact that when we are losing the stupid thread have a more desperate tone.

we also really need to implement that minimum post count for starting threads. that would eliminate a large portion of poo threads.

There are a couple of issues that are giving the Huddle this strange vibe. One is that some of our better posters are depressed and so they are not posting, Two there are more bad threads verses the good because of said missing good posters. Unfortunately we will have to put up with the bad threads until our brothers and sisters of the Huddle get over their peevishness and start posting again. Hopefully some of these new posters will understand that a high post count does not always make a good poster.
