It would make sense. I'm a Boston Bruins fan and toward the end of Ray Bourque's career they traded him to the Colorado Avalanche, where he finally won a ring. He's still a Bruin for life. I can't see him going to Buffalo, though. What about Denver?

I dunno how much stock I put into it actually happening tho. An inquiry is just testing the waters... it prolly happens a lot with crappy teams around the trade deadline.
