"Wins Have To Come... Guys Are Working Hard" - Gross

I agree. I haven't seen them quit, they're just not putting it together.

There is a funk on this team. They haven't broken through it, especially on offense. They really did well last week racking up 400 yards on road against the top defense. Except they didn't finish drives: they were 25% in the redzone.

Forget Rivera not going for it. They could've done better in the redzone and it wouldn't have ever mattered that he chose to hail marry. For all we know, this could've been a gamble Rivera took to break this team out of it. Something big to pump them up for the first time in months. Cam didn't really make that choice look smart. I don't believe Rivera is that smart but damn, that might have been a jumpstart to wake them up.

This teams moto needs to be: "Make big plays and finish them"

This is why I'd prefer to keep DeAngelo. He's a legitimate home run threat. Stewart needs early carries and he can receive as well. I like DeAngelo against tired defenses better.

I can't disagree. ThE team hasn't quit yet and it's a credit to their dedication. Most of the team have played hard every game even though there have been some chokes and unlucky breaks.

I agree. The effort is there. It is the results that have been so dissappointing. No one saw the implosion that is our Offense coming.

Last week we learned that the two TE set is still vialble. Hartstock and Barny are not world beaters, but they can at least help keep the D honest.

If, if, if, we can ever stop shooting ourselves in the foot. We just may be a pretty good football team.

A lot of it comes down to our schemes and game planning. Our coaches needed to understand that you utilize what you have...not try and mold them into a college style offense. We are built for traditional runs and play action. Use Cam's athletic ability...don't put the entire offense on his shoulders.

We looked way more efficient vs Chicago (except for the red zone)

    • Outside of cerrato, I do like our draft overall. Hard to get can't miss draft picks when you pick late in the draft
    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
