Need to get this forum back on track

It's gotten out of hand again. Mainly due to the 1-6 record.

The following will result in vacations or deletions

1. Unapproved gif bomb

2. TLDRs

3. Personal attacks and name calling

In short, if you don't have something worth while to post, don't post anything. You aren't nearly as humorous as you think you are.

What about spamming the same topic 4-5 times?

We have people who havent been here 2 weeks that have created the same topic 4-5 times. Posters using alts to rep themselves and pie themselves. Ive run a message board before, I know you guys know who is who. Not everyone wants to engage in convo and debate with known trolls who have 1 agenda.

On the other NFC South boards, trolls who's sole purpose is to bash a certain player or the team as a whole itself are NOT tolerated and get you banned quickly. Here we give these dudes rights and the benefit of the doubt as contributors. Eliminating them would help us get back on track a lot quicker.

Let's also stop the 'racist' label for those who have a different point of view.

Its gotten very very very old.

That applies on the game day chat as well.

On the flipside lets let go of the jim crow era stereotypes and loaded racial archetypes that some on this site ALWAYS seem to rely on when it comes to certain athletes. You cant have it both ways. Dudes want to demolish players character, intelligence, work ethic, based on loaded racial stereotypes but dont want to be called racist or bias for it. The fact we have posters who come to this board simply to TROLL Cam and tell us how we'd be better off with a more traditional QB has been old.

    • We won 5 with the worst defense in the history of defenses.  I think free agency and our draft puts us over 6.5.
    • Leaning towards just ordering this tonight, but now I have no idea on size. Has anyone bought a bunch of jerseys in the last few years and can convey how the Game vs Limited vs Reebok versions all fit? These are both Mediums... The white one here is a Reebok one from 2010, and was when they had the "+2 length" on the tag and it was the version with the stitched numbers instead of iron on... the blue one is from 2022 and is the F.U.S.E Limited version also with stitched stuff, not the "game jersey" with the ironed on numbers/letters that they have the T-Mac jerseys in. The old one fits me fine, the blue one was always a tad snug on me, particularly in the shoulders I'm leaning going with a Large based on the CMC, but for all I know, that is made with a tighter cut due to the higher "limited" level and the "game" ones they have for T-Mac are cut more like a T-Shirt and thus will fit more like the old white one I have here, not sure. (and yes, I already tried going to a sporting goods store here to hopefully try on a Lions jersey to see, but they don't have any right now)
    • I think there's a ton of potential in that WR room. But they really are unproven right now. Hopefully they live up to the hype.
