Sean must go... this defense stinks!

I talked smack about him earlier in the season as most here did, and for good reason. He wasn't making good calls... See the Giants game.

Could be a combination of things, but Td and Keek being in there together full-time has made a huge difference. And McDermott has seemed to find a good balance on defense in terms of his calls. And in all honesty, he's done a great job since the Giants game... Our problems since then don't seem to be McDermott's but rather when Rivera has chose to intervene (see the end of the Atlanta and Chicago games).

The defense is improving by alot each week. They have really disrupted the last few teams we have played with the front 4. I would like to see the staff back and give it the this is your chance to save your jobs and this franchise..

Having stability in the staff is a good thing. Even Nakamura didnt look terrible.

-See Gary Kubiack in Houston.

Our defense has steadily improved since Rivera announced he was going to take a hands on approach. That's no coincidence. It's a shame that Rivera took so long to reign in Chudzinski. Bad clock management and boned headed tactical decisions aside, I honestly think Rivera is a very good coach.

Take it easy guys, the d looked adequate today against a mediocre offense. Our offense looked average and the special teams did not look special in any way and the coaches didnt make the usual idiotic boneheaded errors they normally make.

Last time i checked we had a whole year of crappy defense last year and now we string together a couple good games this year and we have arrived? They have played good buts Lets finish out this season first before we crown the guy. One meltdown a most people will be back to callin for his head again.

    • The entire OP is about the play calling and results and only mentioned T-Mac one time, in the sense of our offensive struggles only made me more frustrated about our #1 WR only getting a single 2nd half target in a game we were behind for the majority of it. How is that showing my true colors? It's way more of other people reading too much into it and thinking this is all and only about T-Mac for me, but it's not.  He just happens to be the player that I specifically was upset by his 2nd half usage, but it had nothing to do with my personal feelings towards him, but that he's our only legitimate WR and he had a single target in the 2nd half after going for 73 yards in the first. To me, that is a very legitimate play calling gripe, the win or particular player aside.
    • Dowdle looked great. Watching him made this game alot of fun.
    • We’re stuck with Bryce for now.  He led TWO drives where we came from behind to take the lead. One of them was the winning drive and he threw the winning TD. Taken as a whole…he played at expectation after the 1st quarter. That’s not so bad under the circumstances.  We got the win. Maybe they’ll struggle to build on it but a win is a win. He drove the offense down and took the lead when it was needed. You can’t take that away from him.    We’re not changing QBs anytime soon.  Or owners.  So…when they win, we should take it at face value and give credit where it’s due.  Bryce came up big in clutch moments. You can’t take that away from him.
