No I'm too country sounding to attempt rapping, maybe look for better bears to suit your style. You a Kendrick fan?

A huge Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Wale fan! I'm really just trying to become a better rap though. I have some what of a hard time writing to beats. I need to some what polish up my skills but I really don't know how. Any suggestions?

It all comes down to memorizing what you write and practicing every day. Also, it helps to write to the beat you want to use so you can go through your lyrics as you write and see how well it fits, if you want to hold out a syllable, slightly sing it, or whatever...

Once it's written, memorize it. Then practice it over and over again. Your delivery will naturally get better over time...

For help and feedback, check out this site: http://www.rap-royalty.com/forum/

There, you can submit your raps in text form (I'm not a fan of that) or record it and submit it in the "audio drops" forum (but you have to give reviews for two other memebrs before doing so or they'll delete your post). Those guys will give you some awesome constructive feedback and get you straight.

    • Honestly, 2020 and 2021 were the years we sat on our asses like idiots. First being 2020.  Love may have been the one we missed out on with a trade down or a trade up from our 2nd pick.  And Hurts was a totally viable 2nd rounder to take a flier on after going DB. Love in particular was one of those top guys pre-college season, but he had a lot of TOs his last year and some iffy decision making pegged him back by scouts. If we hired a staff with a decent plan and vision (instead of Rhule and whatever he wanted to do) willing to groom him behind a vet, that may have been the money bet.  2021, it was Fields.  We could've tried him on for size, even if it didn't work, it would have put us in position to draft a QB in 2024. It all sucks.  We chased.
    • This aged well (less than 2 weeks). Imagine fleeing Ukraine to get away from violence only to get preventable death at the hands of a "misunderstood victim". The whole city needs a purge.
