Ryan Clark and Ed Reed are childhood friends, so that doesn't matter.

No, that's true, but, did Ed Reed go to college together? Not only did Byrd and Stewart go to college together, but I'm pretty sure they were roommates, something that's more than just "childhood" friends.

But both of them were signed by the teams they still play on... Meaning they had no decision to leave let alone would you leave either of those 2 franchises ?

Byrd should and most likely will leave Buffalo though night get FT

Can you people please talk about something relevant. Free Agency is 4 months away. Can we talk about something like the upcoming game perhaps? You people have the slightest bit of hope over nothing. Just because he was roommates with Stewart at Oregon 5 years ago doesn't mean he will want to come and play with us. Yeah he trained with some of our players this off-season. Players do it all the time. Next Topic

I wouldn't leave if I got paid big bucks, like Byrd probably should.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
