We should trade both Stewart AND D Will

J Stew's stats this year- 336 yds, 3.6 YPC, 1 TD.

D Will's stats this year- 359 rushing yds, 3.5 YPC, 3 TDs

Cam Newton rushing stats- 525 rushing yds, 5.5 YPC, 6 rushing TDs.

Our 22 million dollar QB almost has more rushing yards than our 80 million RBs COMBINED! And more rushing TDs than our 80 mill RBs combined. All we talk about is trade D Will but the fact remains that Stewie and D Will are birds of the same feather and really dont have a big impact on our offense.

I say trade them both for draft picks. Use those draft picks to build our O line and draft a RB with high potential in the 6th and 7th round and let Cam continue to go ham on the ground. I know we just signed J Stew but its all about the O line, look at all these scrub RBs tearing up the league lately. RBs are a dime a dozen, I say trade them both.

Again, let this sink in. Our 22 million dollar QB has more rushing yds, YPC and more TDs than our $80 million RB duo. I know we all "love" J Stew, but gone are the days we hold on to players just because of personal reasons.

Thats much more a product of out "non traditional" offense. I have faith that the right coach or any coach honestly can utilize either Stew of D-Will

Exactly, even fuggin Jeff Davidson used them correctly! But as soon as Chud came their productivity declined, is that a coincidence? I'm not so sure...

Is it really that difficult to understand why our QB has more yards than our RB's?

Cam only has 524 yards on the ground this year, and our backs haven't even reached 400.

To put that in perspective Robert Griffin has over 700 yards rushing, and his RB morris has over 1,000.

Couldn't possibly be our offense and play calling though. Nah let's trade these bums.

So on what planet does 525 > 695 ????

Meanwhile, a rookie RB in Washington has over 1000 yards in a non traditional offense. They are running the read option, heavily operating from the pistol formation, rarely putting RGIII under C.....

More a product here of a WEAK OL and Stewart being gimpy all year.

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
