Next Up: @ San Diego

San Diego is not very physical. I was afraid of KC because of their physicality, but SD is weak at the point of attack. They beat PIT w/o their best CB. Keek will have a field day, as they love screens. We'll be able to run on them if Chud calls a similar game as last week. Ben gave them headaches with his scrambling; Cam should kill them back there. They only win if they out coach Rivera and crew.

It's hard to believe how different this team was last time we played the chargers. Delhomme threw that game winning TD to rosario dawson in the last few seconds. Man.. that was a lot of losing ago.

the chargers were heavily favored as super bowl contenders that season too. that and the patriots at home in 2005 are probably my two favorite regular season wins of the fox era.

Chargers are scarier than we think. The same team that dominated Pittsburgh WITH the return of Big Ben and in Pittsburgh. Also a team that lead the Denver Mannings 23-0 at half time. I will be perfectly honest, the only way I see this game as a win is if Norv wants to give it to Ron to help out a old friend since Norv already knows hes fired anyway. Also, coast to coast game will be hard on our young team that has yet to play in the west coast with jet lag and doesnt have the experience.

Where the hell is this from? Rosario Dawson could be hot at times.
This was a recap after a game.. Maybe it was even that chargers game from 2008 that I was talking about earlier. I think that may have been Rosario's only TD

Yep, Fox threw that graphic up after the Chargers opener in '08.

i thought it was during the game, but seeing that TD beside his/her name makes sense that it was right after the game.

too funny, though. absolutely great game.

i remember norv turner's classic line from before the game..."our 47 is better than their 47".

Jet lag isn't really that bad going east to west.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
