Again, Adam Caplan himself said he'd be more than shocked if Beane was permanently GM, and no one he's talked to think he's qualified.

I respect what Caplan has said....because it is based on what those who do know what it takes said.

My comment was to all of the people talking out of their asses before any of this came out....becuase they think they know what it takes to run a multi million dollar business.....and most would struggle running a lemonade stand in their driveway.

The reason I don't want Beane here is because I want a fresh set of eyes driving the car. This team needs some fresh perspective from the GM position.

and i want someone with a weee bit more experience doing GM type things than a couple months in the GM offseason (regular season of playing football).

pat y barely has enough sources to keep up with the NFCS. caplan and lacanfora know more people.

this is one situation that i'd trust one of the big timers over some glorified local yocal.

My dream scenario is Gettleman getting the GM job and bringing Ross along as an heir apparent. There's probably about as much chance of that happening as there is of me becoming Prime Minister of England though :(

Thanks for the update but I'm still standing by my pick.

The leader in the clubhouse, and the favorite IMHO is Brandon Beane.

I said this after the announced him as the intern GM weeks ago.
