Dear media, please stop telling me Andrew Luck is good

There is something about Luck...I just can't put my finger on it. Hmmmm, what is different about Luck compared to Cam, RG3, Wilson, hmm, what is it?

Why would the media seem to give so much more attention to Luck? I wish I could see the answer.

Oh, just quit with the racist bullshit. The media was all over Cam's nuts last year and they've been all over RG3's this year. Don't even try to act like they haven't been. RG3 has been more hyped by the media than Luck.

Many begrudgingly gave Cam credit, Luck gets love with no effort whatsoever.

The guy threw for well over 4000 yards and 23 TDs carrying the full load of the offense with little running game to help. The guy averaged almost 40 attempts per game as a rookie. That's absurd.

You're just hatin'.

only 2 teams since 1983 had the top pick and made the playoffs in the same year. The Colts are one of them.

these type of arguments are so whiny and bitter. i guess we have a tv/sound bite metric that we can all go to and quantify where in the media one guy gets more love than another. so stupid.

all i know is i kinda like winning games and going to the playoffs. if you make a comparison of any other qb to Cam you get well yeah but that team has a good d or they have AP or they have a nice stadium or whatever. stop with the excuses.

i like Cam and glad we have him but at some point winning has to become paramount compared to commercials and swag and getting mentioned on First Take.

Jimmy Clausen would throw the ball 40+ times a game if those were the plays called. That doesn't make him any good, similarly to how the amount of passing attempts isn't an indicator of how good you are at throwing said passes.

lmao at you idiots

The guy just set the rookie passing record previously set by Cam with a rag of an oline, no defense to speak of, below average receiving corps, and a replacement HC.

You can say he played bad today and you can say his arm is not the strongest but he is well above average as far as QBs go in this league and if we had to replace Cam, I would have no issue taking him over RGIII or Wilson without blinking an eye.

I am not a fan of his per se and I really don't care but you card-carrying agenda pushers need to be made aware that you are wrong...again.

If Indy WRs are below average....so were Cam's. He did it with less attempts

    • Not sure about reporters, but fans do that all the time. Hell, if you were to ask some people on here, Cam Newton never had a single bad game in his entire career. Regardless of whether it's Young, Newton, Delhomme, Clausen, Teddy Bridgewater or even Matt Moore, It's never "everybody else's fault" anymore than it's ever all one person's fault. Young's performance this past Sunday was not good enough, but he had plenty of help.
    • 1st pick was a panic we need a WR for Bryce type of pick - they chose the wrong one. 2nd pick was inexcusable because RB was the one position we didn't desperately need I get the Wallace pick - dude has great athleticism for the LB position. Just has zilcho instincts 4th and 5th round picks look good to me Could care less about 6th and 7th round because those are usually special teamers at best caliber players. Plus we got Coker as a UDFA to negate them.   Overall probably a bad draft because of the 1st 2 picks + Wallace looking bad (granted, I think Brooks would have been a good RB if he could stay healthy). I do think Dan did a good job in the 2025 draft though.
    • "on pace" after one game is kinda silly. Derrick Henry is on pace for over 3000 yards rushing and 17 fumbles.  doesn't really matter though. Defenses are going to take Tet away and make Renfrow and XL beat them. He'll get tons of garbage time crossing routes for ten yards though. Hopefully he avoids the Bryce young hospital balls.
