As of right now I don't care. I'm to excited right now. The future of the Panthers look very bright. Gettleman will do what is best for this team. Whether it be a few giants players or other players from other teams. There is a reason why we hired him. Because he is good. We might have a few years where we remain on 8-8 to 9-7 record until he can get the money in order and cut the dead weight away from this team. But the future looks bright for the Panthers.

He's clearly making fun of Hurney and the lack of FA's in his tenure.(that type of stuff was posted on here a lot)

Ummm... ok! See Cam Newton was a no brainer on draft day for Ron and Hurney like Peppers was for Fox and Hurney. Duh!!

      Is Charlotte the worst sports city right now?

      Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.

      This will also be prime Training Camp meltdown time on here lol. Preseason game 1 August 8th, i'm guessing camp starts around July 25-27th
